New Equine Essentials subsidiary New Product: Save-A-Tail.

Patent Pending
Announcing: Revolutionary, New Save-A-Tail
.
Protects Tail-Set and Prevents Tail Rubbing in Horses!

"This new design is so simple and so effective, I cannot believe that someone has not thought of it before", remarked Anne Hammerlund Thommes, inventor, designer and owner of Equine Essentials. "Our Save-A-Tail's attractive new oval cage-like design makes it impossible for the horse to remove it and helps break the habit of tail-rubbing, too."

March 4, 2002. Hopkins, MN.
PATENT PENDING.

The Save-A-Tail device was specially designed to combat the
common problem of tail rubbing, plus the tail-set
damage that results from the horse both rubbing its tail and
removing the standard tail set. The Equine
Essentials'
Save-A-Tail not only saves the tail and the tail
set itself, it prevents chaffing and the sores that can
result from this stall habit. In addition, the oval
cage-shape includes two small sharpened, adjustable screws
which very gently poke the horse as soon as it presses its
tail against the stall wall.

Todd Perkins, Centre Point Trainer in Delano, Minnesota has
been testing Equine Essentials'
Save-A-Tail for the
past three months on several of his customer's Saddlebred
horses who need to wear tail sets, but who have
found ways to rub and remove them, and damage the tail set.

"What I like best about this new
Save-A-Tail's design is that
unlike other products on the market, it covers the
entire croupper so that the horse cannot push above it or
below it. There's no place they can go with it. And
the two little sharp screws gently "remind" the horse as
soon as it begins to press its tail against the wall.
It stops them immediately from rubbing or removing the tail
set. Basically, it breaks the horse of the habit
altogether", said Perkins.

Equine Essentials'
Save-A-Tail is made from durable, sturdy
mild steel and re-enforced with inner rings together
with four screws and four leather straps which attach to
tail set.
