Instructions
for Save-A-Tail
Protects Tail-Set and Prevents Tail Rubbing in Horses!

1. Insert the 4 leather straps (included) into the slots on the Save-A-Tail.

2. Attach the 2 top straps to the "holder" on the tail crupper straps.

3. Be sure that the straps are tight enough to hold the Save-A-Tail. far enough up onto the tail set so the va=ge itself is not rubbing on the tail of the horse.

4. Attach the 2 bottom straps to the bottom rings on the tail crupper - or to the leather straps of the tail set, if you would prefer.

5. Adjust the thumb screws on the Save-A-Tail so that you can fit your fingertip betwwen the horse's skin and the screw. (This is fully adjustable and a matter of discretion. You may choose to have the screw farther down.)

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE "HOLDER" FOR THE TAIL CRUPPER STRAPS:

1. Using a hole punch, punch a hole in the leather straps (one in each strap) very near to the tail crupper itself.

2. Put the two rings (included with the Save-A-Tail) through these holes.

3. You will then attach the Save-A-Tail to these rings, as instructed above.
